class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Resumen:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La topograf\u00eda lineal y la longitud de infraestructuras de transporte, como carreteras, autopistas, l\u00edneas de ferrocarril, subterr\u00e1neos, t\u00faneles, etc., son aspectos que dificultan la monitorizaci\u00f3n y la vigilancia de estos sistemas. El uso de tecnolog\u00edas tradicionales como sensores de movimiento, bucles, elementos de sensado discretos como el radar, o elementos distribuidos de baja granularidad como los circuitos de v\u00eda, tienen importantes inconvenientes:&nbsp; impiden la cobertura total y continua de las infraestructuras, requieren grandes inversiones y tienen una gran complejidad operativa al requerir la agregaci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples fuentes de datos con, en muchos casos, tecnolog\u00edas dif\u00edciles de integrar y agregar.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para cubrir distancias superiores a 100 km con un solo interrogador, el proyecto MODITI propone utilizar la monitorizaci\u00f3n de sensado ac\u00fastico distribuido (DAS) a trav\u00e9s de fibra \u00f3ptica. Con capacidades que ninguna otra tecnolog\u00eda puede igualar hoy en d\u00eda, esta monitorizaci\u00f3n proporciona una imagen completa de todo el tr\u00e1fico de la infraestructura, adem\u00e1s de proporcionar m\u00e9tricas precisas (ocupaci\u00f3n, velocidades medias, etc.) e informar de eventos en tiempo real (accidentes, paradas no programadas, seguimiento de veh\u00edculos especiales, etc.)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><strong>Objetivo general:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo principal del proyecto es desarrollar una soluci\u00f3n que combine t\u00e9cnicas de detecci\u00f3n, localizaci\u00f3n y clasificaci\u00f3n de eventos en redes de transporte con su aplicaci\u00f3n en equipos particulares. Se emplear\u00e1n prototipos de esta soluci\u00f3n para que se utilicen en posteriores programas piloto y pruebas en infraestructuras de transporte. Este sistema estar\u00e1 disponible para funcionar en diversos escenarios de sensado ac\u00fastico distribuido de largo alcance, como trenes, metros o
