class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Resumen:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los tsunamis impredecibles puedes provocar inundaciones costeras catastr\u00f3ficas que causan p\u00e9rdidas materiales y humanas y, aunque los sistemas de alerta temprana de tsunamis (TWS) son cruciales para reducir los efectos de los tsunamis, las tecnolog\u00edas disponibles suponen costes elevados, tienen un alcance peque\u00f1o y\/o carecen de una fiabilidad completa. Los TWS podr\u00edan sufrir una revoluci\u00f3n gracias a la incorporaci\u00f3n de la tecnolog\u00eda del Sensado Ac\u00fastico Distribuido (DAS), que utiliza cables submarinos de fibra \u00f3ptica para detectar olas de tsunamis y vibraciones s\u00edsmicas.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, la misi\u00f3n de SAFE es crear un producto comercial TWS que integre Inteligencia Artificial y un interrogador HDAS de 100 km de alcance que pueda informar mediante alarmas de una manera fiable al detectar una posible actividad tsunamig\u00e9nica y olas de tsunami. Las organizaciones gubernamentales que buscan sistemas de protecci\u00f3n contra tsunamis a precios razonables para sus ciudadanos que viven en zonas costeras bajas tendr\u00e1n acceso a esta soluci\u00f3n. El desarrollo de un sistema de alerta r\u00e1pida fiable y asequible basado en la tecnolog\u00eda DAS afectar\u00e1 a la predicci\u00f3n de tsunamis y la reducci\u00f3n de los riesgos provocados por estos, que dar\u00eda m\u00e1s tiempo a las personas para evacuar y tomar otras precauciones si se detectan los tsunamis a tiempo.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><strong>Objetivo general:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El principal objetivo es proteger a las comunidades costeras contra eventos extremos mediante la creaci\u00f3n de un sistema de alerta de tsunamis (TWS) m\u00e1s asequible, fiable y f\u00e1cil de usar, que utilice tecnolog\u00eda de Sensado Ac\u00fastico Distribuido (DAS) de alta fidelidad. Al crear una soluci\u00f3n como esta, m\u00e1s confiable, menos costosa y m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de instalar y mantener que las opciones existentes, el proyecto SAFE busca satisfacer las necesidades de las comunidades costeras con recursos limitados.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<section class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper-cfb block-wrapper-slider-columns\"><div class=\"container\"><div
